This bicycle is a real contradiction. On one hand it's almost a joke, but on the other very
innovative. Most bicycle manufacturers make only the frame and then bolt on components made by
someone else. Lambert made almost all of their own parts. Some of those parts didn't work very
well, but some were truly ahead of their time. This bike has sealed bearing hubs, bottom bracket
and pedals. The aluminum fork blades were known to separate from the steer tube. The flexible frame
was made from lightweight "aircraft" chromoly tubing.
