| This bicycle was Trek's first foray into the mountain bike market. It was built with Tange oversized chrome moly tubing, but unlike later mountain and road models, it still has a lugged frame. It also has some of the common first generation mountain characteristics including longer wheelbase, more laid back frame angles and heavy duty components. Check out the unusual seat post that has a quick release lever to move the sadlle back and forth on the rails. |
