| English 3sp bicycles were an alternative to the American balloon tire bikes of this era. This one has the shift lever mounted on the top tube instead of the later handlebar placement. The steel chainring reads Hercules. This particular bicycle came from Idaho where it was ridden many miles by a League of American Wheelman member. |
