1938 Elgin |
This pre-war example has a more "streamlined" style than the 1935 Elgin. The Chrysler Airflow and Art Deco designs were starting to surface and some bicycle designs followed suit. Some of the details include the raised "fins" on the hubs, the metal protection plates on the saddle, the tank that continues through the seat tube and the fine pinstripes on the raised fenders and drop center rims. |
